The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games

Suzanne Collins

Synopsis

In a dystopian future, the totalitarian nation of Panem is divided into districts, each forced to send two tributes to participate in a deadly televised contest known as the Hunger Games. Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen volunteers to take her sister's place and enters a fight for survival alongside fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. As they navigate alliances and betrayals, Katniss must confront the brutal realities of her world while struggling with her own emotions. The Games push her to discover her own strength, resilience, and moral compass. Ultimately, her actions spark a rebellion against the oppressive regime.
